The lawyers and professional support staff of The Employment Law Group® (TELG) are completely focused on helping clients in legal dealings with employers.

Some of our clients didn't get a fair chance at a job based on age, sex, or racial discrimination. Others lost their job because they chose to step up and go public with dangerous or illegal practices. Still others simply wanted our help when negotiating employment contracts that dictated so much of their future.

The people at TELG understand that employees are logically uncomfortable about bringing legal action against a current or potential future employer. It's unlikely to impress a company or agency you're trying to get hired by, and people rightly worry that hiring an employment lawyer can hurt their future promotion potential at an existing employer.

The first thing we do is to listen. There are times when our direct involvement may not be best. When that's the case, we are happy to educate clients about their legal rights, and stay on the sidelines. "Employment law groups" should first consider the best interests of employees.

More often, the lawyers and procedures utilized by large government and corporate employers require us to step forward to more actively represent our clients' interests.
